A DAY OF FINDING OUT ABOUT THE BODY, HEALTH & BEAUTY.

With a handful of locally sourced professionals you will receive advice on a number of items that will help you change the way you feel, look or exercise in the new year. We have professional advice on nutrition, tips and skills to make you feel better with our Image Consultant, a Pilates and Yoga professional giving you some taster sessions and lastly some information on how to de-stress and keep calm with our Meditation session.

The day will last from 10am until 3pm and will include hot drinks as well as a detox lunch together. You’ll definitely come away with lots of information and ideas.

Tickets are just £10 and are available from reception.

Following these sessions a lunch will be served including a Detox Soup (red lentils, clementine and ginger) and a light main course and hot drinks.

Starting off the day with a 9.30am BOOTCAMP with Marco Galea.

Marco was a fitness instructor at various gyms for 10yrs then became a PT instructor for the past 4 yrs. He has always been into fitness one way or another all be it through football, Tai boxing and running of which he completed the London marathon last year.
 
He will be dishing up a short 1/2hour bootcamp for you to get straight into the swing of things for our day….

TGS DANCE FITNESS PILATES & YOGA: Nicola Guitart

Nicola started as a dancer from a very young age, but took it to a serious level at the age of 16 when she joined the Bodywork Foundation Course. Nicola got married to Jodi and with her husband decided to run their own dance classes and create TGS. Nicola then decided to expend her qualifications into Fitness with Fitness Pilates, Zumba, Kettlebells, Insanity, Functional Older Adult Training, Block Fit and Float Fit. She feels that “ I am blessed to be able to teach everyone from the age of 3 to 103 (and I have some that are nearly that age). Teaching is a skill, a passion and whether it be dance or fitness, it’s truly wonderful to see progress and results and watch people develop into the best version of themselves possible!”

She will teach 2 mini classes:

-Fitness Pilates: a mat based class focusing on core strength, balance, flexibility, mobility and conditioning. movements are usually easy to follow with variations for different levels. pilates is an excellent addition to any sport or fitness regime as well as a stand alone method of exercising. suitable for everyone.

-Hatha yoga flow is a great introduction to the traditional methods practiced in many yoga classes. the class consists of asanas (poses), breath work, meditation and relaxation.

The taster will be suitable for complete beginners so if you’ve never ventured onto a yoga mat before, here’s your chance!

Have you ever said there is no way you could ever meditate? Come and join us and let us show you just how easy it can be. Even the most resistant of monkey minds will learn to focus on your breath, posture and find a still point in your centre.

Marlo will be demonstrating that anyone can learn to meditate. Meditation is a great way to kick off 2018 by carving out some weekly time for yourself. Our taster session will give you everything you need to know to get started. Everyone can meditate. There are many different forms of meditation.

You will be invited to take some time to breathe, centre and find a stillness in your belly.

Manifest on Merryland is in St Ives. She’s a certified Life coach, Tarot Reader, Reiki Practitioner and Massage Therapist. Marlo also owns Talisman by Raven creating bespoke amulets and talisman and has been facilitating large monthly spiritual groups for 10+ years and offering numerous training in varied spiritual classes and workshops.

There will be a 1/2 hour meditation class for everyone

Clelia specialises in digestive disorders, weight management, preconception, pregnancy, infants, pre-school children’s nutrition, woman’s nutrition, diabetes & circulatory conditions.

She can provide individual nutritional plans and diagnostic testing to help and guide people towards their goal of well-being.

Clelia will speak about the foundation of good nutrition & how to keep in good health
