Enthusiastic, energetic individual required to join a vibrant and busy hotel kitchen team popular with diners and large functions.
Duties to include food preparation work and basic cooking under the supervision of a Head/Sous or section chef, rotating through sections such as sauce, vegetables, fish, butchery and patisserie.
Must be willing to work weekends and shifts.
Maintaining high standards of hygiene
Preparing the ingredients for a more senior chef
Measuring dish ingredients and portion sizes accurately
Dealing with deliveries and stock rotation
